"...because better moms
make a better world."

What Is MOPPETS?

Mothers instinctively look to meet their child's needs before thinking about their own. A mother needs assurance about her child's well being and happiness before she can get the most out of her time at MOPS. The MOPPETS ministry focuses on the children of MOPS mothers and strives to meet the needs of these children.

The quality care and biblical teaching of the MOPPETS program can have a healthy impact on the entire family. While mothers are being cared for in the MOPS meeting, her children are experiencing the love and tender care of volunteers who have a heart for children.

The MOPPETS caregivers understand that they are helping shape a little person, and that that can be best done by having fun activities based on morally true biblical principles.

The MOPPETS program uses a specially-made curriculum program developed by MOPS International that incorporates learning and fun activities for four different age levels for each stage within the child's preschool years.

For practical purposes, the MOPPETS program typically is divided up into four different age-group classes: the infants (for babies under one year), the 12 - 24 month olds, the two year olds, and a combined 3 and 4 year old class. Each of these classes utilizes the MOPPETS curriculum program and childcare workers best suited to a particular age group.

In a typical MOPPETS morning program, your child will engage in several activities all centering around one main theme that will help her understand God's love for her. The activities can include singing, an bible story, a creative project, a snack, and exploring a godly trait such as being kind to others.
